After five years as an esports organisation, 3DMAX have decided to close their doors starting on May 1st, 2015.
The name 3DMAX has long been familiar for fans of Counter-Strike, with the team boasting French and Swedish contingents in Counter-Strike 1.6.
CS:GO was both a fruitful and a rocky game for the French organisation, and over the three years of 3DMAX's commitment to the game, the organisations' line-ups flew flags as diverse as France, Denmark, Slovakia, Germany and Finland.

Despite a popular community moniker of "3 days max," many players were given a chance to shine and expand under the 3DMAX tag, among them Ladislav "GuardiaN" Kovács, Peter "dupreeh" Rasmussen, Hendrik "strux1" Goetzendorff and Jacob "Pimp" Winneche, and many others.
The organisation finally seemed to have found a happy home in recent times with their Finnish line-up. The team managed to qualify and compete at a CS:GO major (ESL One Katowice 2015), put on a thrilling show at ASUS ROG 2015 and gave a very impressive and strong showing last weekend at the ESL Pro League Winter Finals.

With the announcement of their closure, 3DMAX will terminate their operations on the first of May.
The ex-3DMAX line-up is currently:
Taneli "disturbed" Veikkola
Jesse "KHRN" Grandell
Tom "stonde" Glad
Joona "natu" Leppänen
Mikko "xartE" Välimaa
When asked about what the future holds for the line-up, team manager Mikko Sohlman stated:
|"what I can say at the moment is that we have had conversations with some organisations and we are at least for now sticking together with the lineup and planning to continue playing."|
For organisations interested in contacting the team about potential sponsorship, Sohlman can be reached at [email protected]
