affNity sign with 3sUP

affNity, a North American team who compete in the ESL ESEA Pro League and CEVO Professional division, have been acquired by organisation 3sUP.

affNity put up some surprising results during the past few months, finishing in the middle of the table of both the ESL ESEA Pro League and CEVO-P Season 7, while defeating teams such as CLG, Nihilum, and Liquid in the process.

Because of their finish away from the bottom of the ESL ESEA Pro League table, the affNity squad will also retain a place in the prestigious $1 million league.

The American-Canadian team's results have not gone unnoticed, as Arya "arya" Hekmat and his men have now been picked up by 3sUP, an organisation previously known for its outings in Call of Duty.

In a statement to the Daily Dot, team member David "DAVEY" Stafford spoke at length about the acquisition:

"This has been a long time coming and after a lot of talks with many different organizations the entire team felt that 3sUP was the best for our team. We really enjoyed working with their managerial team through the entire process. Both parties feel we came to a fair agreement that will benefit everyone. This will allow our entire team to focus fully on improving our game and taking the steps to becoming the best we can be.

The addition of Kiko to our roster has nothing but strengthened our team and with that we have a new found motivation to be the best. We would like to thank all of our fans who supported us this season and we hope to improve every match and be the best,” Stafford said.

As Stafford mentions, the team have also acquired Francis "kiko" Lao following the earlier departure of Jason "focs" Mauery. For those unfamiliar with the early days of CS:GO, Lao has a history playing on teams with players such as Jordan "n0thing" Gilbert and Braxton "swag" Pierce.

The team's roster is therefore as follows:

 Arya "arya" Hekmat
 Abraham "abE" Fasli
 David "DAVEY" Stafford
 Jason "jasonR" Ruchelski
 Francis "kiko" Lao
