CPLAY, nEophyte to fb Masters

CPLAY and nEophyte have qualified for fragbite Masters after reaching the final of the first online qualifier.

A total of 19  teams from across Europe took part in the first online qualifier for fragbite Masters Season 4 with hopes of getting their hands on the highly-coveted two spots in the 500,000 SEK (~$56,600) European league.

In open online tournaments, surprising results tend to happen quite often, and this qualifier was no exception as teams like Gamers2, INSHOCK and dignitas were all eliminated in the early rounds.

The first semi-final was a Nordic clash between CPLAY and Orbit, with victory going the way of Lukas "gla1ve" Rossander's side following a 16-12 win on de_overpass and a 16-11 success on de_mirage.

The other semi-final pitted the new nEophyte team, featuring Czech veteran Tomáš "oskar" Šťastný, against Andreas "MODDII" Fridh's Reason Gaming. The Slovakia-based side proved to be too strong to handle for the Danish side and ran out 2-0 winners following a 16-5 mauling on de_inferno and a 16-12 triumph on de_mirage.
