Epsilon sign ex-Atlantis

Epsilon have announced that they have secured the services of the former Atlantis CS:GO team.

The Spanish team made headlines earlier in the week when they parted ways with Atlantis eSports - the organisation they had represented since leaving gBots in February - just days before GGCUP, one of the biggest events of the year in Spain.

At the time, Atlantis revealed that the players had decided to join a new organisation, which led to intense speculation about the future destination of the team, who are starting to get some good results in international tournaments.

It has now been revealed that the players have signed for Belgium-based organisation Epsilon, who officially venture into CS:GO again following the match-fixing scandal that rocked their previous team.

After being released by Epsilon, Robin "GMX" Stahmer publicly revealed that he, Kevin "Uzzziii" Vernel, Joey "fxy0" Schlosser andMorgan "B1GGY" Madour had lost an ESEA match against OverGaming on purpose to profit from weapon skins sold by friends on CSGOLounge. The quartet were later banned by Valve, and Adil "ScreaM" Benrlitom - the only player on the team who was not involved in the fix - was handed the task of rebuilding the squad from the ground up.

However, the Belgian talent has been linked with a move to SK Gaming as part of an international team that is garnerning much attention from the community. As a result, Epsilon decided to look for opportunities elsewhere and ended up picking a Spanish team after previously supporting Swedish and French/Belgian talent.

The team will be making their debut for Epsilon this weekend at GGCUP, where x6tence and Deaka will also be in attendance.

Epsilon now have the following CS:GO lineup:

 Francesc "donQ" Savall Garcia
 Alejandro "ALEX" Masanet
 Omar "arki" Chakkor
 Óscar "mixwell" Cañellas
 Aitor "SOKER" Fernández
