Fight Night prize upped to $5,000

Aftonbladet Esport has revealed that it has increased the prize purse of its Fight Night challenges to $5,000.

Fight Night consists of a series of best-of-five matches featuring the best teams in the world, with the winning side taking home $3,000.

The first edition of this challenge, which took place in April, saw fnatic beat Team SoloMid 3-0, even though only 10 rounds separated the two sides throughout the series.

For the second iteration of Fight Night, scheduled for June 9, Aftonbladet has managed to increase the amount of money on offer by $2,000, with the extra sum going to the runner-up.

As defending champion, fnatic will be playing this match against a challenger team, who will be announced soon.
