Team Liquid have announced that Kyle "flowsicK" Mendez has joined their CS:GO team on a permanent basis.
Kyle "flowsicK" Mendez recently stepped in for Liquid at Gfinity Spring Masters II, where the team finished at the bottom of their group, with two points from four matches after holding both fnatic - who would go on to win the tournament - and Na`Vi to draws.
It was a considerable improvement from the disappointing campaign at the FACEIT League Stage 1 finals, which left Liquid's management brimming with confidence about the future of the team.

Liquid have now confirmed that they have tied Mendez down for the long term. The 24-year-old was a free agent after being replaced by Kory "SEMPHIS" Friesen on Nihilum Gaming's starting roster last month.
"[At Gfinity] it felt really good to show a high level of potential with this lineup with the little practice we had," Mendez told Liquid's website.
"Everything was rushed at first given our situation but we are quickly moving into a much more structured dynamic within the roster in regards to strategies and theories."
The North American team currently sit next-to-last in CEVO Professional, with one point from three matches, while in the ESL ESEA Pro League they lie in third place on a 6-3 record.
Liquid's starting lineup currently consists of:
Eric "adreN" Hoag
Jacob "FugLy" Medina
Nick "nitr0" Cannella
Jonathan "EliGE" Jablonowski
