GO:CL reaches playoffs

The group stage of the Global Offensive Champions League has come to an end, with the top eight sides advancing to the playoffs.


mousesports and PENTA Sports, who were sitting in the bottom two places, forfeited their last matches in the round-robin stage, citing lack of time as the reason to want out of the tournament.

Virtus.pro were also due to battle FlipSid3 Tactics in their final match of the group stage, but the Polish team decided to forfeit this game due to their busy schedule.

Initially, the top six teams were due to advance to the double-elimination bracket stage, but Dreamz Media, the organiser of GO:CL, has decided to expand the number of places to eight following discussions with HellRaisers, who finished seventh during the regular season.
