GPlay lose team

GPlay have witnessed the departure of their CS:GO team, Nikolay "nkl" Krustev has told

The Bulgarian team have established themselves as one of the rising sides in Europe following a series of convincing displays in both online and offline tournaments.

After winning the Belgrade qualifier for the Gaming Paradise, GPlay gave a great account of themselves at the StarSeries XIII Finals, where they beat EnVyUs, HellRaisers and Gamers2 in the group stage before finishing 3rd-4th following a 2-0 defeat against the French giants in the semi-finals.

Bulgarians are looking for a new home

But despite all this success, the team could not come to an agreement with the GPlay management regarding a new contract. The last offer made by the organisation was not to the liking of the players, who are now free to discuss their future.

"We part ways with GPlay because of different visions in terms of our new contracts," Nikolay "nkl" Krustev told

"We would like to thank our CEO and our manager for believing in us during these 10 months, but we are looking ahead and we will try to find a new home.

"All organisations interested in helping us and supporting us can contact us by e-mail at [email protected]"

Until a new organisation is found, the Bulgarian team will play under the name Mortal Kombat. Their next event is expected to be the offline finals of the Acer Predator Masters league, in which they currently lie in sixth place.

GPlay had the following CS:GO team:

 Nikolay "nkl" Krustev
 Simeon "dream3r" Ganev
 Viktor "v1c7oR" Dyankov
 Emiliyan "spyleadeR" Dimitrov
 Kamen "bubble" Kostadinov
