PENTA Sports have bolstered their CS:GO squad with the addition of four new players.
The German team had been widely expected to undergo major roster changes at the end of the EPS season after failing to reach the offline finals of the league.
As such, it was with little surprise that PENTA parted ways with three of their players earlier on Monday as Denis "denis" Howell,Timo "Spiidi" Richter and Johannes "nex" Maget decided to further their careers in mousesports.
Those are not the only players heading out PENTA's exit door, however, as Niclas "enkay J" Krumhorn has been given his marching orders after little over a month on the team. This leftKevin "kRYSTAL" Amend as the only player left from a lineup that, just two months ago, had finished in the top eight at ESL One Katowice.

To fill these vacancies, PENTA re-signed Tobias "Troubley" Tabbertand Hendrik "strux1" Goetzendorff, two players who had recently left the team following internal differences, and picked upDimitrios "stavros" Smoilis and Johannes "tabseN" Wodarz, formerly of Planetkey Dynamics and mousesports, respectively.
"I am really happy to announce that I will get the chance to play for PENTA again and build a brand new team," Goetzendorff said.
"The core of the old PKD lineup with Troubley, stavros and myself will work together again, together with kRYSTAL and tabseN, two great German players.
"I look forward to the tasks ahead, and I am sure that every player here will work hard for the team."
PENTA Sports now have the following CS:GO lineup:
Kevin "kRYSTAL" Amend
Tobias "Troubley" Tabbert
Hendrik "strux1" Goetzendorff
Dimitrios "stavros" Smoilis
Johannes "tabseN" Wodarz
