The move comes just days after CLG failed to defend their Legend Major status after crashing out of ESL One Cologne - which they attended with coach Faruk "pita" Pita as a stand-in - following defeats against Gambit and dignitas.
Both Tarik "tarik" Celik and Pita will make their last appearance for CLG in ELEAGUE, where the team will try to secure a spot in the playoffs via the last-chance qualifier.
tarik set to leave the team
In a Facebook post, CLG explained that Celik will take a break from competitive gaming as he wishes "to spend time with his family and to stream from home" before returning to action in 2016.
As for Pita, the Bosnian coach has expressed a desire to return to Europe to be closer to his family - a decision that is also in line with the interests of the players, who allegedly believe that the team "is in need of a fresh start from the top down."
